DUTIES:
Specimen processing, patient testing, quality control, instrument set up EQUIPMENT UTILIZED:
Chemistry:
Roche Cobas 6000, Integra 400, e411, Radiometer ABL80 Flex (blood gas), Hematology:
Sysmex XT4000i, Coagulation:
Stago Compact, Blood Bank:
MTS Ortho Gel System, Microbiology:
gram stains, culture set up, blood culture set up, LIS:
Sunquest, EMR:
EPIC SKILLS/
Experience:
Routine specimen testing to include blood bank (ABO/Rh/Type and Screen/Crossmatch) and limited microbiology.
Must be able to perform venipuncture LICENSURES:
Certification from national accrediting agency:
ASCP, NCCLS, etc SHIFT:
One person would be for midnight shift Sunday through Thursday.
They are on this shift alone; however, ER provider is available and supervisor would be available by phone.
One person needed for afternoons Monday through Friday.
Supported by on tech until 8 pm and a phlebotomist until 10pm.

VariesEURbusy outpatient testing lab.
Phlebotomist on staff for afternoons for support.
Midnight tech would work independently.

Would really like candidates that are looking for permanent positions.
However, will take long term temporary candidates.
